The Day the Earth Stood Still

2. Can you imagine a world without energy or technology? How would it be different.

I can't imagine a world without energy or technology nowadays, because we are surrounded by them. Without energy or technology we would have many problems like food, light, wouldn't be medicines nor transports, wouldn't be so much variety of jobs and many other things. But it has some advantages, for example the pollution decrease and it is very important.
In conclusion I think the energy and technology are necessary now that it's part of our lifes.

All those noughts

Really, the more I think about it the more confused I am because... I should have had to think about it before do it, I should have taken the briefcase and give it to a police. I'm sure that the man would express his gratitude. If my friend didn't tell me anything about the airport, I wouldn't be in this situation, but I was the one who decided to come, I only hope no one would notice that stole the briefcase. Thanks to this I've learned that I have to be careful the next time and I hope it doesn't repeat again.

MY GLOBAL ISSUE CAMPAIGN LEAFLET

POVERTY

The problem.
Poverty is a serious problem. Many people die of it every year. Africa and Asia are examples in which poverty is a serious problem. Poverty is general dearth. Poverty refers to the deprivation of basic human needs, which commonly includes food, water, sanitation, clothing, houses, health care and education.

The solution.
We can combat the problem with the improve of infrastructures in those countries, with the investment of an education for all children, with the investment of health care for prevent diseases, etc. These are some of the many solutions with which we can combat the problem.

Can you help?
We can raise money and donate this money for the people who need and we can organize a petition in which the people donate things like food, clothes that no longer use, etc.

Invent a job

This job could be called "assistance in traffic jams" or something like that, and it would consist of a person that goes to your car in motorcycle when you're in a jam and the person care your car and another person takes you to the place you want. It's necessary that this people have driver's license and they have to speak other languages. I think the salary wouldn't be too high, maybe between 700 or 800 euros per month and they earn tips too.

The Danish students

Today, Danish students have came to our school. My English class and I went to the assembly hall with them. There my English teacher has put us a presentation and he showed us a video about Málaga, the Danish's schedule and our education system. After that we saw another video about the hairdressing school in I.E.S El Palo. And finally my teacher chose four students of my class to show them our high school and the rest of my class and I came back to our English class.

The Bridges of Madison County

I think Francesca was right to not go with Robert as she thought in her family and didn't think only in herself, although I'm sure she wanted to go with Robert, because she wasn't happy with her family because they didn't pay much attention to her. If I were her, I would do the same. We must also say that although they were just four days together was a true love, not only a passenger love. I think that love lasted forever although were never together. In my opinion Robert had a big detail to leave her all those memories at the time of his death.

One day, Martín goes to the toilet at the railway station. He then notices a briefcase propping against the wall. He picks it up and opens it.
